Petra is an engineered power and data hardware system that Zuster fits into a concealed location within the desk, such as inside a door, during manufacture at our Design and Manufacturing HQ in Thomastown, Victoria.

-The module is fitted into position

-Wiring is added to connect the unit to either a wall socket or floor power

FAQ

Does Petra work with any desk position, or does it need to be against a wall? It's designed to connect directly to a wall outlet when the desk is positioned against it. It also works via a floor box connection if the desk sits away from a wall.

Can I choose different colours for the frame and fascia? Yes. The socket frame and fascia are selected independently.

What's the lead time for this add-on? Every piece begins its life at our manufacturing headquarters in Thomastown, Melbourne, where Zuster's own cabinet makers and upholsterers hand-craft it from raw material through to final detailing. Because your piece is made to order rather than pulled from a warehouse, it's ready in just 6 to 8 weeks, in the Zuster timber finish and fabric of your choice, built to be lived with for decades rather than years. Custom sizing and configurations are available on request, so the piece is made to fit your space, not the other way around.
