ZUSTER IS EXCITED TO INTRODUCE THE JEWEL COLLECTION
The Jewel Collection represents a fresh and bold new approach for Zuster. Its bespoke design approach marries high end fashion with furniture, and continues our strong tradition of hand detailing and embellishment to create furniture pieces that make a statement.
These are pieces with provenance that draw on 22 years of Zuster craftsmanship and our talented team of master craftspeople to create statement pieces that will live in your home as ‘art’, and live with your family as heirlooms.
“Myself and my sister, Creative Director Wilhelmina McCarroll, have been working together since 1994. Having designed over 240 Zuster items for our collection, we both felt it was time to break out of the mold, be creative and have a bit more fun. In 2015 Wilhelmina decided to move away from Zuster’s signature Scandinavian design aesthetic to work in a new, more personal style.” Zuster Managing Director, Fleur Sibbel.
“The Jewel Collection is the result of a very organic and creative process which pushes the limits of our craft. Each item within the collection holds a certain kind of magic that strikes a chord and makes a special connection with the user,” Zuster Designer/Director, Wilhelmina McCarroll.
JEWEL COLLECTION & ISSY BY ZUSTER LAUNCH AT DEN FAIR 2016
For the last two years Zuster has used DENFAIR to launch our new collections. In 2015 we presented Halo, and this year Jewel with its beautiful hand carved, hand-crafted design featuring a rich earthy palette of luxurious precious materials.
The Jewel collection is a boutique range of heirloom furniture pieces that reveal their heritage and provenance through precious, jewel-like embellishments and luxuriously hand-crafted materials.
Zuster will also be launching some new ISSY by Zuster bathroom furniture pieces, as part of the Reece and Zuster collaboration.
As members of the Australian design community we feel proud to have such a positive industry platform like DENFAIR. The 3-day event from 2-4 June 2016 offers the best in contemporary furniture and design, lighting, soft furnishing and homewares, with a strong focus on established Australian and emerging brands alongside international original designer brands. Interior designers, stylists, decorators, architects, specifiers and retailers should not miss this event.
